8/10 GB Series roller ski race 24/12/6km results

See the results and individual lap times for yesterday's race over 24/12/6km, the final one in the GB Series.

For this race congratulations go to Senior Male and Female winners Gregor Fijalkowski and Beata Nowok, both from the Cairngorm Nordic Ski Club.  Martin Watkins [Wessex] was second overall and won the Senior Male Veteran category.  Steve Perry [RAF] won the Male Veteran category.  In the U14 category the winners were Aiden Grant [Huntly] and Ella Ford [Hyde Park], while for the U12's it was Jonas Schneider [Hyde Park] and Beatrix Evans [LRNSC].  Voucher prizes will be emailed out shortly.

It was surprisingly warm and sunny so very well done to all who participated, and thanks to everyone who supported the race, [especially those who made long journeys from Scotland] and to Gerard Evans, the Race Director.

We were also able to announce some of the results and present trophies for the GB Series.  :
